The other wedding photographer that I am working with this semester is Amy Pezzicara. Here is her website! Check it out!

I tend to be looking at more stylized portrait photography lately and came across Jo Lance who I think has an interesting futuristic look. http://www.jolancephoto.com/art.htm

In looking for different ways to represent Klimt's paintings, I came across these photo recreations and thought they were amazing! Here are some samples. The photographer's name is Moises González.

For our third project we have to recreate three paintings through photography. I chose to do some of Gustav Klimt's paintings.

These were my final images for the second project.

After working with kids for the last project I was told that it might be interesting if I explored that some more. I don't know if I will because it was very stressful, but if I do Loretta Lux is a photographer that photographs children that has a different style that I like.

My church is getting started at organizing our 2010 mission trip. This summer we will be traveling to North Dakota, working on an Indian Reservation to build a church. I have been on many of these trips in the past and have always brought my camera along but usually come home with more "snapshot" like photos. This year however I would like to come home with more artistically based images and have been look at ones such as these to become inspired.

This next project that we are working on has to do with moments in history, events, or pop culture. What I decided to do for this project was to create images from three different current reality shows inclung SURVIVOR, The Amazing Race, and American Idol. However, the twist that I wish to put on these images is that they will all be made with children as models.

So for the next project about famous moments in history, I was thinking about one of my three moments to be the death of Princess Diana. I want to do one image of the actual crash but keep it subtle and not get into the cheesy side with a lot of fake blood. For the second image I wanted a very literal portrait shot of her with her eyes shut in her coffin to show her beauty even after death. Any thoughts or ideas?
I really want to post some images from the photographer that I am doing my internship with this semester because I really admire his work but I could copy and paste them from his website so I"ll just post the wed address. He is a wedding and portrait photographer but also does some fine art stuff. Hopefully this will give some insight to the kind of photography that I really enjoy.

Our latest project was to take pictures that illustrated our first memory. My images represent little clips of early memories of my great grandmother. The items in the pictures are all things that I gor when she passed away.
