The panoramic photos that I took centered around a fire station. When I was first given this assignment I really didn't know what I was planning on doing because I didn't really want to just do a landscape. Then, after attending a guest artist lecture by Barbara Jo Revelle and hearing her talk about how you should try to incorporate your photography into your life, I had an idea. I simply hung out with my boyfriend at the fire station that he works at. Being there hanging out with the guys for a while really changed my perspective of their normal day - they have a lot more down time than I expected, but they are already to go at a moments notice. From this I decided to center my project around the items that wait for them - I titled this project "Ready and Waiting."
